About Michael Langston

I began my Real Estate Career in 2003 with Russell Lands on Lake Martin. Being a native of this area and having spent most of my childhood and young adult life here on Lake Martin, real estate was a very easy career choice. My impact in the market place was felt immediately, and resulted in my being recognized for several achievements, including 2004 Rookie of the Year, Presidents Silver Award, and selling the most Waterfront Lots on Lake Martin in 2004.

From 2005 through 2012 I have been awarded Top Producer by Russell Lands in the Dadeville Branch as well as being awarded the Gold and Platinum Presidents Award. In 2009 Russell Lands chose to become part of the ERA Realty Team. My achievements instantly awarded me in the Presidents Circle and this past year I achieved the status of the Top 50 Realtors to Follow by ERA Nationally.  By the end of 2011 I ranked 2nd in the state of Alabama landed in the Top 20 ERA Realtors in the Country. We are pleased to tell you 2012 and 2013 brought more of the same success where so it is safe to say, I have found my calling enjoying every day helping families buying and selling, and working with investors to make the correct choices in today’s market.

In the Spring of 2013, I made a change from Russell Lands to Lake Homes Realty. Lake Homes Realty is a national company that provides me more reach and more service to help my clients sell their properties. We had a very successful year with Lake Homes Realty and we are very happy with our change. It is great to work for a company where your property comes first…You will see Lake Homes Realty in many markets near you soon….as long as there is a lake there.

In good Real Estate times and in bad, you will find that I work hard to make sure my clients and customers stay in touch with what is going on in the market place, from timely e-mails to phone calls and of course our weekly Top 10 that has been going out for almost 7 years now! I feel it is important to keep my clients and customers informed so they can make better decisions.

Over the last 40 years there is nowhere on Lake Martin I have not visited by water…From the tips of The Narrows to Shady Pointe and from the Bluffs to Moon Branch. Even now, my boat is sitting in the water 12 months of out of the year ready to go…because I believe you have to be knowledgeable of any new changes on the landscape of your product. Trust me the lake is changing every week!

Having spent most of my career in sales and sales training, from Chicago to South Florida and almost every stop along the eastern seaboard, I have shared my belief in Customers for Life. While not every transaction can be a happy ending you can assure that everyone is treated fairly and honestly just as you would treat a friend.

As it says in the slogan “More Than Just Another Realtor ” perfectly describes me as The Realtor who loves to be on the Lake (my office) everyday listening to a little Buffet and talking about the history and opportunities here on Lake Martin.

Some of the faces on the Langston Team have changed over the years, however we feel we are better equipped to handle your Real Estate needs better than ever. Our staff includes a few independent contractors that are the best at what they do, an office manager and a couple of devoted client service representatives that go beyond the call of duty to help us obtain our goal of helping you achieve yours.
